In an exam situation take at least five minutes at the start to plan and five minutes at the end to check your work.
Make sure that you use these key words regularly in your answer to maintain focus.
Integrate quotations into the sentence – Jane’s sense of humour is shown when she comments, ‘much good may it do you!’ on hearing Eliza’s plans to become a nun.
Check you have made at least two comments each on: language, context, different interpretations and other texts that relate to "Jane Eyre", as relevant.
Take a breath, read through what you have written and think, before you continue to write. Examiners are looking for quality above quantity.
