Comment

This is an excellent analysis of the theme of friendship. There is good understanding of literary techniques, and sound analysis of language and its effect. Links have been made to other features of the play, particularly to the central theme of class and also to the playwright’s main purpose. A sophisticated range of vocabulary has been used and the sentence structure has pace and variety. The conclusion presents an unusual and well-supported argument about the play’s resolution.
