This response provides a clear and relevant account of some of the different educational settings Brontë includes in the novel. Most but not all points are supported by quotations. More in-depth analysis and more attention to the second bullet point in the question could improve the answer further.

For Grades 8–9

Incorporate textual evidence into all main body paragraphs to support points.
Develop more literary analysis of the textual evidence used, including discussion of particular language choices or other techniques used.
Emphasise a range of different characters’ perspectives as specified in the question.
