Comment

This is an effective essay that covers a lot of ground and tries to tackle different forms of deception. The references to context, especially around Christian morality, are very interesting but others, for example on gender, could be expanded further.

For Grades 8–9

  • Try to expand on contextual issues a little more.
  • Follow interpretations to their logical conclusion.
  • Make sure to avoid any slack or informal sounding language.
