This essay develops some thoughtful ideas around friendship and begins to consider Austen’s methods. However, some ideas are introduced without sufficient development.
For Grades 8–9
- Include more discussion of Austen’s method in order to explore effects.
- Develop comments in more detail to draw out more sophisticated analysis.
- Make sure language is formal and precise to give clarity.
