You should be able to comment on how the stage set can suggest a character’s mood.

‘She has dragged her   trunk into the centre of the bedroom. It hangs open with flowery   thrown across it’ (Scene Ten, p. 90).

Ask yourself: How might this suggest Blanche’s mood and what she is doing?

Possible answer: The scene suggests a disarray that reflects the disarray of Blanche’s mind. At the same time, the open trunk and flowery dresses suggest that she is planning to go on holiday. In fact she claims she has been invited on a cruise.
